Sight 2020 Direct: International Co-ordinator

I am an Independent Occupational Therapist and International Co-ordinator for Sight 2020 Direct.

I have been working as an Independent Occupational Therapist in the UK since 2012 and working with Sight 2020 Direct charity as their International Co-ordinator since 2008. In the charity I am responsible for co-ordinating people and processes to ensure that projects are organised and delivered on time with the desired results and for establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties.

My role helps to bridge the gap between the charity’s aims in the UK with the areas of need in Malawi, often mediating so that expectations are met by both parties.

I also organise and implement annual occupational therapy projects in different settings within Malawi. I find the work very rewarding and feel priveleged to be a part of it.
