Official opening of the St Montfort College Wall

We are pleased to announce that the barrier wall at St Monfort College has now been officially opened!

Construction started in 2018, to provide security for the students at the school while they were learning. After a lot of hard work by the local construction team the wall is now complete and was officially opened by Canon Roy Doxsley during our November 2019 visit to Malawi.

Canon Roy opened by saying what a great joy and privilege it was to be able to work with the charity in Malawi and thanked the school for the warm welome that he and the rest of the team had received. He blessed the wall with holy water, before cutting the ribbon to huge cheers.

We would like to thank the many people who have contributed funds and time to the construction of the wall.
